World Autism Awareness Day

Calling all members! We are delighted to announce that we will be supporting  Autism Ireland on their World autism awareness day celebrations on Easter Monday April 2nd from 1-4pm in Multyfarnham. We want you to join us! The day promises to be filled with lots of fun and activities for all the family.  from magicians, to balloon releases, face painting, lots of goodies, Autism Hero Awards and of course the launch of Irelands very first Autism specialist radio station) !

Our special and unique Easter Bunnies who love to be different, just like our champs, will be on hand to help find the many Easter eggs they’ll have hidden around the garden that morning.

The event is free to all members but you need to register at waad@autismireland.ie to attend.

PS: don’t forget to let the kiddies find the 5 hidden eggs in the picture and put the answers in your registration email for entry into a draw for Tayto Park tickets and Easter Hamper on the day!

Autism Ireland are delighted to have partnered with Heartbeat FM Radio Services and come up with a very exciting joint initiative called Autism Radio. This will be Ireland’s first ever specialist radio broadcast for the autism community, which will broadcast for 2 weeks in April. During this time, we will be organising a series of interviews on varied topics of importance to the community.  If you have any suggestions or would like to get involved please e-mail info@autismradio.ie
