We are working with a leading global fund services business that is continuing to expand its Private Equity offering in Ireland. Due to ongoing growth across the business, they are now looking to appoint an experienced SVP within Private Equity Fund Accounting to join the leadership team in their Dublin City Centre office.
This is a senior, high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining technical fund accounting expertise with client leadership, team development and operational improvement. The successful candidate will take ownership of key client relationships, lead and develop a growing team, and play an active role in shaping how the business continues to deliver best-in-class service across private equity, private credit and alternative investment structures.
The role will suit someone who is comfortable operating at a senior level, managing stakeholders, building strong client partnerships and driving efficiency across processes, systems and service delivery.
The role will involve:
- Leading Private Equity /Private Credit Fund Accounting teams across a portfolio of key client relationships.
- Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring a high-quality, responsive and commercially focused service.
- Managing and developing strong client relationships, including regular service reviews, issue resolution and strategic discussions.
- Overseeing fund accounting delivery across capital calls, distributions, NAV production, financial reporting, waterfalls, carried interest, equalisation and complex fund structures.
- Building, mentoring and developing teams, with a focus on performance, progression, quality and succession planning.
- Driving efficiency across processes, controls and operating models.
- Playing a key role in projects, change initiatives and technology enhancements, including the use of automation and AI to improve delivery, accuracy and scalability.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across operations, client service, technology, risk and product teams.
- Supporting continued growth by helping to onboard new clients, enhance service models and identify opportunities for improvement.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Strong experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting, Private Credit or broader alternative fund services.
- Proven leadership experience, ideally at VP, Director or SVP level.
- Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to manage relationships at a senior level.
- Strong technical knowledge across closed-ended fund structures.
- Experience managing teams and developing talent.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in efficiency, automation, technology and AI-led process enhancement.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with senior internal and external stakeholders.
