Human Resources Business Partner

This role acts as the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) across Corporate & Institutional Banking for Ireland. You will work directly with assigned business / function areas to align people and organizational strategies to business strategies and objectives while applying the appropriate level of confidentiality. The HRBP’s are strategic advisors to their clients, driving the understanding and adoption of HR programs, and managing the execution of program activities for assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor to influence and support key strategic and operational decisions
  • Understand market forces and business strategy and how this impacts the overall people agenda
  • Facilitate development and of talent/retention strategy within business lines
  • Facilitate career management and succession planning in alignment with Group policies
  • Oversee and provide guidance for all employee relation issues in line with legislation
  • Always ensuring to mitigate risk and protect the Bank
  • Identify critical metrics to assess and measure impact and results to share with your clients
  • Facilitate organizational change management and help leaders to align communication, behaviour, to support the desired changes
  • Manage the Annual Compensation Review Process and off cycle compensation review: provide advice and guidance to managers with regards to compensation of their staff, ensuring equity, fairness, and non-discrimination
  • Leverage employee feedback and/or interviews to maintain or build awareness of covered population, issues and challenges
  • Project management – manage a range of HR projects for the team. Support HR initiatives across calendar year and keep their line manger up to date on forthcoming initiatives
  • Contribute to the Operational Permanent Control Framework
  • Support ‘One HR’ culture, mutual accountability and respect within HR team

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3 years + relevant HR / Business Partnering experience
  • Knowledge of the financial services
  • Up to date knowledge of Irish employment legislation and market trends
  • Proven track record working with employees and Senior Management levels
  • Culture fit with HR (collaborative spirit, interest in people issues, operating with discretion…)
  • Work experience in a multicultural environment, partnering in a collaborative manner
  • Strong active listening and communication skills •
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to problem solve and apply situational judgement whilst demonstrating decision quality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities & projects through successful delivery and implementation under time, and within budge
