We’re working with a growing fund services platform seeking an Assistant Vice President – Fund Accounting to join their Corlteam.
This is a genuinely strong opportunity for a high-performing Supervisor or Assistant Managers ready to step into a broader, more commercially exposed role with real ownership of client relationships and end-to-end fund delivery.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of technical fund accounting, client delivery, and team leadership. You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact while ensuring accurate and timely NAV production.
You’ll also play a visible role internally, supporting junior team members and contributing to overall team performance.
It’s an ideal move for someone looking to step up into a more senior title and expand their scope beyond pure production work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of funds, overseeing delivery from start to finish
- Review NAV calculations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client requirements
- Oversee daily operations including trades, cash, income and expense processing
- Perform and review cash and position reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements and support year-end audit processes
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Liaise with investment managers, brokers, and custodians on a daily basis
- Support and mentor junior team members
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6 years’ experience in fund accounting (hedge fund experience beneficial)
- Strong technical understanding of NAV production and fund structures
- Exposure to review work and/or informal leadership
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage client relationships
- Financial reporting experience is a plus
- Degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
