An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading global financial services organisation as it establishes a new Dublin-based KYC onboarding team supporting clients across the aviation and aircraft leasing sector.
This is a hands-on supervisory position with responsibility for two direct reports , with scope for the team to grow. You will oversee the end-to-end onboarding of aviation clients and associated SPVs, while acting as a key point of contact for clients, senior management and internal stakeholders.
The Role
- Lead the day-to-day activities of a newly established KYC onboarding team
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding of aviation and aircraft leasing clients and SPVs
- Deliver an efficient, high-quality and client-focused onboarding service
- Build strong relationships with clients and manage queries through to resolution
- Coordinate onboarding pipelines, priorities and delivery timelines
- Work closely with Compliance, Financial Crime, Legal, Risk, Credit and Front Office teams
- Manage operational issues and ensure appropriate escalation and resolution
- Develop performance reporting, dashboards and management information
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, policies and controls
- Set objectives, provide coaching and support the continued development of team members
The Person
You will have strong experience in KYC, AML, client due diligence or institutional onboarding, together with the confidence and leadership skills required to manage a small, growing team.
Experience within aviation or aircraft leasing KYC would be strongly preferred. However, candidates with broader corporate or institutional KYC experience involving complex legal entities, SPVs and international ownership structures will also be considered.
You should also possess:
- Strong knowledge of KYC, AML and customer due diligence requirements
- Previous team leadership, supervisory or people management experience
- Experience managing complex corporate or institutional onboarding cases
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to demanding timelines
- Strong judgement and the confidence to manage issues and escalations
- A practical, organised and detail-oriented approach
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
