My client, a long established Global Leader in the provision of Financial Services and Fund Administration is currently seeking to hire an experienced Hedge Fund Accounting Professional. They are company with an impressive heritage, excellent reputation for not only work/life balance, but also one with an extremely capable Executive Leadership team who have well defined plans for team and company growth. They have adopted a hybrid approach to work.

About the Role

This senior hire has arisen due to new business growth. Reporting to the Head of Hedge Fund Accounting, you will be responsible for delivery of exceptional administration services to a range of Complex Hedge Fund clients. You will act as relationship manager and primary contact to key investment managers and investors providing them with RFPs, technical support, manage annual budgeting and plan for the onboarding of new clients.

As you would expect, you will be responsible for the oversight of accurate and timely NAV calculations, manage a small team of AVPs and thus be responsible for their development, succession planning, resource planning etc.

In this highly visible role, you’ll work on projects to enhance the current service offering, be a driver of process improvement, participate in and lead due diligence visits, audits etc.

This is very much a client facing and relationship management driven position, with about 50% of your role dedicated to relationship management.

About You

You’ll be a hands-on, ambitious and motivated Fund Accounting Manager or Senior Manager. You are one who exudes professionalism and integrity and comfortable in leading teams, engaging and facing high profile clients striving for high quality service. Knowledge of complex investment types, regulatory requirements, and performance fee methodologies would be sought after.

Finally, you’ll be keen to further your career in the short to medium term and really be a person who can ultimately see the bigger picture in a large organisation.
