Financial Reporting Assistant Manager (Funds) (LD271143) Permanent

My client is a leading fund administration service provider. They are currently looking for an Assistant Manager in Financial Reporting to join their expanding team in Dublin. This is an incredible opportunity to join a firm that values their team and the services that they deliver to clients.

The Role:

• Co-ordinate the end of year financial statements preparation process
• Preparing and reviewing annual financial statements
• Review the work of colleagues and ensure all work is scheduled to meet an agreed upon timeline
• Ensure that disclosures are accurate via reviewing of legal documents governing Funds
• Ensure all queries relating to financial statements are delivered in a timely manner
• Review and ensure accuracy of disclosures via review of legal documents governing the fund and disclosures required under specified accounting standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college / university
• Qualified Accountant with exposure to Financial Reporting of Funds or a Big 4 trained accountant within FS
• Detailed knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Knowledge of the Investment Funds Sector
• Strong communication skills are essential
• People management skills a plus
