AML Quality Assurance Vice President Permanent

The Role:
Arising due the growth of the business globally, my client are seeking to hire a number of Quality Assurance, Risk, and AML professionals to assist with Quality reviews of cases which have gone through client due diligence refresh.
Not your typical first line of defence AML role, this is closer to third line of defence where your role will be to manage a Quality Assurance team whose role is identify issues or defects in the caseload, summarise them and provide remedial recommendations to the business.
This role requires a strong Operational Risk background, with a good understanding of Assurance Testing, Risk/Control Self Assessments, and Process Risk Control.
You will ensure analysts adhere to proper governance procedures, issue case assignments, and ensure control effectiveness for your group.

About You:
Experience in AML, Quality Assurance/Testing Audit, Risk/Controls will all be considered, with AML from Financial Services or Banking preferred. Knowledge or experience in Anti Money Laundering concepts are required as are data and privacy regulations. Experience across any line of defence is considered.
Critical thinking and the ability to self-manage are keys, as are research and analytical skills.
As you will be responsible for the performance of a small team, some moderate people management experience will be essential.
