Transfer Agency Team Leader

Job Description 

The Team Leader will be responsible for working with a team within the Transfer Agency Dept with the objective to achieve overall high client satisfaction.

He/She will also be the key contact for investor or inter-departmental queries that arise. The role will involve working closely with, and providing support to, their Manager to ensure the team operates efficiently and that deadlines are met.

Achieving this will require strong people management, initiative, and attention to detail as well as the ability to delegate and to gain the commitment among team members.

 Key Accountabilities    

  • Assisting/Covering the Manager in overseeing the day-to-day activities of the SHS Team
  • Processing/Validation of all enquiries within agreed internal and externalSLA’s
  • Validation/approval of related tasks including but not restricted to client reporting
  • Ensuring all enquiries are logged into the query management database
  • Follow up and escalation of enquiries that remain unresolved outside of agreedSLA’s 
  • Handling of special processing situations including exceptions that require strong oversight
  • Review and discuss with the Manager any issues requiring escalation
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to on a daily basis and that this is evidenced
  • Actively participate and work with Production Support in the launch of any incremental business
  • Ensure the preparation of any mailings required for internal or external vendors is completed in a timely manner
  • Establish, with the CSM and Manager, service standards and procedures for the SHS Department 
  • Regular arrangement, attendance and active participation at team meetings
  • Remain knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives (attend to presentations, work sessions & personal effort) and educate clients continually through presentations
  • Establish solid contacts with all areas and all levels at clients’ organizations as well as inter departmental

 Experience     

  • Minimum of 4 years Transfer Agency experience
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to handle complexity
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German and / or French is considered a plus
  • Knowledge or prior experience of Multifonds TA is considered an advantage
