Senior Compliance & Risk Manager – Dublin
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective delivery of risk reporting requirements including reporting to Risk Committees and Client Risk functions
- Design and manage the implementation of an effective risk reporting framework and enterprise wide risk management reporting to meet Client and internal reporting requirements
- Prepare, challenge and quality control risk management information provided to Clients to meet ISL requirements
- Effectively assess and report on Key Risk Performance Indicators, challenging inputs and results
- Monitor and report on all risk events and breaches; ensure correct levels of escalation and resolution are in place
- Initiate and participate in all initiates to improve reporting standards, systems and processes including cross-functional project teams or Client driven requirements
- Provide high quality management information to senior management, Board and Management Committees and Clients
- Manage the Risk Committee process, report production, terms of reference, action trackers and resolution management
- Ensure key management information and reporting requirements are identified and assessed within major development projects (e.g. new initiatives) through provision of expert advice and guidance
- Oversee the day to day provision of required market risk data to Client
- Providing data to Clients related to funding the Clients portfolio.
- Prepare, monitor and forecast plans and budgets for the unit.
Experience:
- Significant and wide ranging level of knowledge and proven track record in financial market’s activities and specifically in compliance and operational risk
- Experience of managing a team focused on meeting demanding deliveries
- Business / Risk related qualification desirable
- Experience of a service provision environment and delivery of reporting requirements in this context.
